You sign up and
Dr. Magac’s team will put in place the entire program. His program is truly
“turn-key” as the program is implemented without disrupting your existing
practice routine.
Dr. Magac will incorporate his program into your practice at your pace. We
suggest positioning the program as a supplement that you can grow as you feel
comfortable. For many the addition will become a “transformation” but that is
not required. Even those practices implementing the program as a supplement to
their practices, however, will increase their monthly collections by $30,000 -
$300,000 without significantly altering their existing routine.
The beauty of Dr. Magac’s program is that:
1). There is nothing to figure out on your own.
2). There is no costly trial and error
experimentation.
3). You receive full education, training and both
initial and on-going support.
You receive the following:
1). Dr. Magac’s team will completely incorporate the
“Total Interventional Pain Management” system™
into your practice. Your
involvement is minimized as Dr. Magac has designed the program to be
“turn-key.”
2). Dr. Magac’s team will coordinate the hiring,
contracting with, training and supervision of the MD who specializes in
Pain Management. Dr. Magac is an expert at hiring the MD that is a fit
for your office.
3). MD training may include personalized training
and training at the Illinois facility using fluoroscopes and cadavers.
The MD is also trained on working with DCs and/or PTs.
4).
Dr.
Magac’s team will handle the equipping and proper set up of the
Pain Management Suite including space allocation, electrical
etc... Dr. Magac will arrange for the acquisition of the correct
equipment and nothing more. The equipment can be rented (if you would
like to keep the costs low) or you can purchase (lease) the equipment.
Dr. Magac has the ability to obtain the equipment at a fraction
of the cost charged elsewhere.
5). Dr. Magac’s team will train your practice on
appropriate patient intake and overall clinic efficiency.
6). Dr. Magac’s team will ensure that your practice
is expertly trained on proper coding, billing and collection. Dr.
Magac’s billing expert is the official billing trainer for the American
Academy of Pain Management.
7). Dr. Magac provides operation manuals as well as
all patient forms, charts, medical file formats, documentation formats
and all required forms.
8).
We
highly recommend that you rent the equipment initially to keep your
initial costs low. If you do wish to purchase,
however, Dr. Magac’s team will arrange for you to obtain the required
equipment (fluoroscope etc..) at greatly reduced pricing as they have
relationships with re-conditioned equipment providers. Dr. Magac is also
set up with several leasing companies if financing is necessary.
9). Dr. Magac’s team will ensure that your practice
is compliant with all insurance company and regulatory agency
requirements.
10). Dr. Magac’s team will train on all required
clinical protocols and standards.
11). Dr. Magac’s team will provide effective
internal and external referral and marketing programs.
12). The marketing programs provided (print ads,
direct mail pieces et. al.) are the same ads that have doubled and
tripled the revenue of the participating practices. The marketing
approaches provided are tested and proven – not just theory.
13). Dr. Magac’s team will implement and train your
practice on an effective “Physician Referral Program” that actually
works.
14). Dr. Magac’s team will provide a separate
customized website for your practice using Pain Management as the
primary focus.
15). Dr. Magac and his team will be your mentor
through the process. Dr. Magac’s clients are extremely successful. He is
not an “I have an idea” type of Doctor. He has executed and succeeded
with his own plan.
16). You will engage in bi-monthly coaching calls
with Dr. Magac and will have access to the other Doctors with whom
information can be exchanged. Dr. Magac encourages a free flow of
information between participating Doctors.
17). The fact the program involves both medical and
chiropractic modalities leads to an increase in referrals. It is much
easier to create a “referral culture” in a Pain Management Center than
in a chiropractic only practice.
18). You also receive area exclusivity as Dr. Magac
will work with only one Doctor per defined area. That area is defined
between Dr. Magac and the participating Doctor.
19). Ongoing support is also provided on clinical
protocols and for billers and the administrative staff.
Options For Participation:
There are three levels of participation as well as a “transitional phase”
that can be used while waiting for the MD. It should be the objective of all
practices to move toward Level III as soon as the Doctor’s comfort level allows.
1). Transitional Non-Medial
Treatments Only – transition phase until MD is in place. Expanded
portfolio of clinical options and chronic pain specific marketing
provided.
2). Level I Muscle Trigger
Point Injections – MD provided modality. You can choose to have MD
(and/or nurse) on staff full time, on designated days or on a contract
basis.
3). Level II Large Joint
Injections (in addition to Muscle Trigger Point Injections) – targeted
to patients with arthritis in their knees, hips or shoulders. Sacro-iliac
joint injections are also administered at this level. Eliminates drug
dependence and may prevent knee or hip replacement surgery.
4). Level III Interventional
Spinal Injections (in addition to Muscle Trigger Point and Large Joint
Injections) – MD is highly trained and usually an anesthesiologist.
Large number of varied services offered including:
1). Epidural steroidal injections;
2). Facet blocks;
3). Interlaminar/Transforaminal
blocks;
4). Selective nerve root blocks;
5). Ganglion blocks;
6). Radio frequency neuroablation;
7). Intradiscal electrothermal
therapy;
8). Percutaneous nucleoplasty.
