Question
What Realistically Can My Practice Add in Monthly Net Revenue
By Joining This Program?
Answer
Your practice can add a minimum (very conservatively) of
$30,000 a month in net revenue by joining this program. Dr. Magac can go into
greater detail but the $30,000 figure is arrived at as follows: We suggest that
you add the MD (in the beginning) for one day a week. The MD can, at a minimum,
perform 20 procedures in a day. We will assume that you begin with 5 patients
and then add 5 new patients a week (very, very conservative numbers). Remember
that each patient comes back for three treatments (one treatment for each of
three weeks). The minimum reimbursement from the MD added procedure is $800. The
flow is as follows:
| Week_Number |
New Patients |
Returning Patients |
Total Number of Patients |
Total Revenue |

You can do the math. These figures are from the MD added procedures only and
do not take into account any billings associated with chiropractic. The internal
and external marketing provided by Dr. Magac will provide higher new patient
numbers than one a day but the graph above is provided in order to provide a
conservative cash flow analysis. $30,000 is a conservative estimate for the
first month but the average practice is generating $50,000 or more in net
revenue by the second month.
Question
Why Would A Patient Come To My Practice For This Procedure
Even With The Addition Of The MD?
Answer
The primary reason is that a patient can be seen and treated
at your practice (generally) within 3-4 days compared to a wait of 3-4 weeks at
other locations offering the same service. This “increased availability” is
among the reason why Family Practice Doctors and other MDs will refer their
patients to your practice. A certain percentage of your existing patients will
have interest in your “new program” and the external marketing provided by Dr. Magac’s team ensures that your MD has a full schedule on the day(s) they are in
your office.
Question
What Are My Costs To Join?
Answer
The initial cost is the $24,000 paid to Dr. Magac to join the
program and to reserve your area. A popular “buzz
phrase” is “turn a one time investment of $24,000 into 3 million dollars a year
(insurance based & sustained).” Once you enroll, Dr.
Magac will walk you through the process and will assist in minimizing additional
expense.
You will have
to have the fluoroscope in your office but renting options at a low monthly fee
are available. You can always purchase the equipment
at a later date but we recommend renting to start.
There is also a monthly fee of $2,995 paid to Dr. Magac but as stated, the
average increase in monthly revenue per practice is $50,000 so the fees are well
spent.
The break even point of the program occurs in approximately
30 days so we are encouraging our Doctors to put the initial cost on a credit
card or to arrange for a short-term loan from their bank so as to not affect
their cash flow. Again, the revenue numbers are
conservative and reflect only the additional revenue generated from the MD
modality added (not the chiropractic billings). The revenue figures are
contingent only on the amount of time the Doctor chooses to dedicate to this
portion of the practice. Several practices are generating more than $100,000 a
month in additional revenue.
Question
Why Can’t I (The Doctor) Just Do All Of This By Myself?
Answer
We have researched this question as well and have come to the
conclusion that it is just not worth it. This program is like a 100 piece puzzle
and if one of the puzzle pieces is missing, the whole puzzle collapses. We have
recommended to our Doctors to just “bite the bullet” and join the program. Dr. Magac has perfected the program (he knows intricately how to assemble the 100
pieces) and one slip up by a Doctor trying to do it on their own would be
disastrous. At $2,400 per patient (for the medical component alone) the cost to
hire Dr. Magac and to join his program is about 10 patients and then one patient
a month. The peace of mind that comes from knowing that the program is
structured and is being operated correctly is more than worth the cost. In
addition, the months lost trying to figure it out will cost you not only “your”
exclusive area in Dr. Magac’s program but it will have cost you hundreds of
thousands of dollars in lost revenue that you would have realized had you
joined. In addition, if you tried to do the program on your own, you would
probably encounter one or more components of the program that were “not right.”
Correcting those problems will take time away from your regular practice and
will become a nightmare. We suggest paying the 10 patients and then 1 patient of
month to take advantage of Dr. Magac’s 8 years of experience and the resulting
peace of mind that comes from knowing that the program was set up and is being
run correctly.
Question
How Can I Feel Comfortable With The Legality of The
Structure?
Answer
The program is structured differently depending on the state.
Dr Magac uses healthcare attorneys who are
experts in your state and who will ensure that the structure is put in place
quickly. The program is not being offered
in New York or Connecticut because the process of hiring a MD takes too long.
Doctors in those states that have already hired a MD can, however, participate.
In the other 48 states the structure of the program (in terms of legality) is
quickly put into place.
Question
If My Practice Becomes a Pain Management Center Will
Chiropractic Become Less Relevant?
Answer
No. The idea is to administer the blocks to provide immediate
pain relief which will allow you (the DC) to work chiropractically with the
patient to eliminate the cause of the patient’s pain. Once out of pain, the
patient is more likely to adhere to your prescribed course of treatment in order
to stay out of pain. The revenue figures represented ($800 per session and
$2,400 per patient) are just for the medical component of the procedure and do
not take into account the billing for the chiropractic or other modalities.
Total per patient case value should be in the $6,000 - $8,000 range.
Question
Are There References That We Can Speak With?
Answer
Yes. References are available upon request. A few of the
stories from participating Doctors are reproduced below:
Doctor Story
A Doctor in a small town had a nice
“chiropractic only” practice that was grossing around 500K annually. The “Total
Interventional Pain Management” system™ was implemented and the practice grew to
over 3 million in gross revenue in less than 3 years. The practice is
maintaining and has maintained those revenue figures for the past 4 years.
Doctor Story
A Doctor in Texas implemented the program
and consistently generate over 100k monthly in revenue as well as 80-100 new
patients per month.
Doctor Story
A Doctor in Illinois owned a worker’s comp
practice that was grossing less than 500k annually. The practice implemented the
“Total Interventional Pain Management” system™
and surpassed 1 million in yearly
collections by their second year.
Doctor Story
A Doctor in South Carolina was operating a
practice that netted him less than $70,000 per year. He implemented the “Total
Interventional Pain Management” system™
and operated the system for two years. He
then sold his practice for 1.2 million in cash.
