An
Overview Of The Program

This program is an
offering from Dr. John Magac and involves the merging of medical and
chiropractic modalities to better achieve the objective of pain relief for the
patient. Through Dr. Magac’s program a MD (who is
a specialist in Pain Management) is added to the Doctor’s practice which allows
the practice to offer interventional pain management to patients.
The Doctor’s office
becomes the “
Pain Management Center ” in the targeted area.
The MD-DC concept is not new but Dr. Magac has “stayed the course” over the past
eight years and has absolutely perfected this model. In Dr. Magac’s model, the
MD is concentrating in the area of “Pain Management” (not sore throats or a
generic discipline) which melds nicely with chiropractic. Pain Management is
also one of the most rapidly growing and highly reimbursable fields in medicine.
The program is comprised of the following:
Dr. Magac’s team will coordinate the hiring, contracting with,
training and supervision of the MD who is trained in Pain Management.
Dr. Magac’s team will arrange
for
for the rental or for the
acquisition of equipment
necessary to operate a Pain Management practice.
Dr. Magac’s team will control the implementation of their unique
protocol which combines chiropractic and medical modalities to achieve
maximum results in terms of pain relief.
Dr. Magac’s team will train and supervise the Doctor’s practice
concerning appropriate coding, billing and collection.
Dr. Magac’s team will execute both internal and external marketing
programs as needed.
We have been approached before with “chiro-med” types of programs but have
never been interested. Our disinterest has been caused by the program tending to
be an “I have a great concept” type of program. The company presenting the
concept has not really “removed the bugs” from the system. As we all know, one
“bug in the system” can cause the whole program to collapse.
Dr. Magac has spent 8 years removing the bugs and perfecting his system to
achieve what he calls a “complete collection of pain treatments under one roof.”
He has ensured that “all loops are closed” in terms of the legality of structure
and the program is insurance based (no closing cash) so the financial risk is
minimized (again – no closing cash). In addition, the participating Doctors are
doing very well with an average increase in net revenue of $50,000 per month as
a result of their participation. In addition, he is enjoying a 100% success rate
among his clients.
The program has also passed all of the tests that we require before promoting
a program:

|
This is a model that requires a high level of efficiency and Dr. Magac has
achieved a high level of expertise in each required area:
Hiring of (finding the right MD for your office), contracting with,
training and the supervision of the MD.
Compliance with all regulatory and insurance requirements in all
aspects of the program including legality of structure.
Design and layout of the “pain management suite” and the efficient
and inexpensive acquisition
(which may include renting) of only the required, correct (and
necessary) equipment. Nothing surplus.
Development of a highly effective protocol combining both the medical
and chiropractic modalities to achieve maximum success in achieving pain
relief. Chiropractic remains the centerpiece but the medical modalities
are expertly interwoven into the overall protocol to achieve maximum
results.
Appropriate coding, billing and collection. Dr. Magac’s billing
expert is the official billing trainer for the American Academy of Pain
Management. As indicated, average increase in net revenue per practice
is $50,000 monthly. The amount of revenue increase is completely
dependent on the amount of time the Doctor chooses to dedicate to the
program.
Internal and external marketing that is both professional and
effective.
He has successfully assembled “the whole package.”
As indicated, the program involves the addition of a (Pain Management) MD and
the required equipment to your practice as well as the implementation of a
protocol combining both medical and chiropractic modalities to achieve the goal
of pain relief. Your practice becomes the “Pain Management Center” in your area.
The treatment protocol was created from real life experience not “models” or
classroom templates. Protocols concerning marketing, patient intake, billing et.
al. have also been perfected. The entire program is as comprehensive, thorough
and systemized as the best “franchise” but does not involve the loss of
independence that results from a franchise.
Dr. Magac is also completely “transparent” which is very important to us. He
encourages you to speak with participating Doctors and encourages you to ask
anything.
Chiropractic remains the primary treatment to correct the underlying issues
that are causing the pain but the addition of the medical component provides the
patient with immediate relief. Patient retention is therefore increased and
chiropractic therapy can be more aggressively administered. Again the program is
effective in terms of pain relief through the “synergy” of chiropractic and
medical. The program is not just about making a great deal of money by adding a
medical component. The ultimate objective of the program is increasing the
percentage of patients for whom pain relief can be provided.
The benefits are many but include the following:
The program allows your practice to add additional modalities that
can be offered to your patients which will increase the number of
patients you can help out of pain.
Implementation of the program will increase net revenue by $30,000 to
$300,000+ a month using an insurance based procedure. The average
increase in revenue experienced by participating Doctors is $50,000
monthly.
The program is “turn-key” so the program can be implemented without
disrupting your existing practice routine.
